He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Downey; and his parents, Edward Downey Sr. and Pearl Downey (Pforte). He is survived by: his wife Regina Downey (Daniels); his stepchildren, David Martin, Michael Martin (Sheryl), Kim Martin, Shawn Martin (Meaghan) and Scott Martin (Darcie); his son Brendan Downey; his grandchildren, Ryan, Riley, Brady, Joey, Kylie, Chase, Colin, Dylan and MacKenzie; and his brothers, Edward Downey Jr. (Trudy) and Robert Downey (Evelyn). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
