With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John H. Purdon of Billerica, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Purdon and Helen Purdon (White); his wife Irene (McGrath); and his sister Helen "Dolly" (Frank Bassett) of Perry, ME. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Bruno (Mark Bruno) of Westford, MA, Kimberly Arsenault of Maynard, MA and Kelly Batherwich (Robert Batherwich) of Pelham, NH; his grandchildren, Samantha Dolabany (Patrick Dolabany), Anthony Roddy Jr. (Natalie Roddy), Breeana Arsenault, Isabelle Arsenault and Abbagail Batherwich; and his great grandchild Aliya Dolabany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Dolan Funeral Home (106 Middlesex St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863).
