He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Glavine and Bridget T. Glavine (Galway); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" E. Glavine (Towle); his children, Debbie McBride (John) of Billerica, Frederick Glavine Jr., Tom Glavine (Christine) and Mike Glavine (Carissa) of Lexington; and his siblings, Francis Glavin, William, Joseph, Gregory, James Glavine and Margaret Nuttall.
