It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Cooney of Billerica, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Virginia, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cooney and Margaret Cooney (Dempsey); his wife Rose Cooney (Giorgio); and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his son Keith E. Cooney of Billerica; his grandchild Meghan Rose Byron; and his siblings, Paul Cooney, Catherine Conroy and Margaret Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
