He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Frobese Sr. and Anne M. Frobese (Gillis); his grandson Gavin Goodwin; and his sibling Francis. He is survived by: his son Steven Goodwin (Laureen) of Wolfeboro, NH; his stepdaughter Gail Nault of Billerica; and his siblings, Joan Potter, Jessie Herndon, Jean Hill, Stephanie Frobese, Ernest, Michael and Stephen Frobese. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
