With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alden F. Westerlund of Billerica, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Westerlund (Sutton); and his parents, Frederick Westerlund and Egny Westerlund (Johnson). He is survived by: his daughters, Ardine Shepard (Shepard Jr.), Elaine Doherty of Cambridge, Yvonne Casey of Pepperell and Valerie Duncan of Chelmsford. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
