He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Buchanan and Elinore Buchanan (Ward); and his sister-in-law Gail. He is survived by: his wife Anita D. Buchanan (Maistrellis); his son Jason Buchanan (Lindsay Merrill) of Merrimac, MA; his grandson Owen; his daughter Bailey Buchanan of Manchester; his grandchildren, Konrad Thomas, Tristan and Jagger Nowak; his brother-in-law William Maistrellis; his niece Raina McManus (Michael); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hera and Tycho; his nieces and nephews, Elisa Maistrellis (Clayton Lewis), Benjamin Murray, Nate Murray, Andrew, Christopher, Patrick, Anne, Jessica, Jane, Rebecca, Jill, Heather, Jennifer and Ashley; and also Keri. He is also survived by his family and taught his children and grandchildren.
