Philip L. Butman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip L. Butman of Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Roland T. Butman; his wife Fran (Wilson); his siblings, Robert "Red" Butman (Carmella), Donald Butman, Thomas Butman, Ralph Butman (Doris) and Dorothy Desjardins; his siblings-in-law, William C. Wilson Jr., Richard, Mary Wilson, John, Jacqueline Wilson, Irene, Frank Finn, Joanne, Arthur Pike, Donald and Kathleen Wilson; and his friend Jack Toomey.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Bannan (Michael) of Merrimack, NH, Patricia Fanning (Richard) of Beverly, Nancy Holster (Daniel) of Hawley, PA and David Butman of Amesbury; his grandchildren, Andrew Fanning (Carli D'Angelo) of Gloucester, Matthew Fanning (Erin Deschenes) of Beverly and Elizabeth Wilson (Matthew) of Beverly Farms; his great grandchild Ayden Fanning; his sister Eleanor Lundergan of Peabody; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Butman of Ipswich and Augustus Desjardins of Beverly; and his friend Donald O'Connor of Beverly Farms. He is also survived by uncle, he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
