It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael P. Whalen of Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Whalen and Virginia Parks (Hall); his brother Sturgis Whalen; and his grandson Kenneth Brown. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Donna) of Salem, NH and Pamela Brown of Amesbury, MA; his grandchildren, Taylor Brown (Matthew Knight) of Jersey City, NJ, Alexandria Brown of Amesbury, MA, Mitchell Whalen of Salem, NH, Zachary Whalen of Salem, NH, Nicholas Arsenault of Texas and Shawn Arsenault; his former wife Donna Whalen of Peabody, MA; and his sister-in-law Callie Whalen of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's name to Northeast Animal Shelter of Salem, MA.
