He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cheney and Betty-Ann Barnes (Lemay); his son David Cheney; and his siblings, Cheryl Howlett and Robert Cheney Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janice Cheney (Cleveland); his daughters, Cassie Marchette (Tristan) of Ipswich and Erin Deely (Ryan) of Scarborough, ME; his grandchildren, Brayden and Madeline Deely; and his daughter Effie Marchette.
