She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Oak and Inez Oak (Walsh). She is survived by: her children, Russell Akerman (Susan) of Beverly and Christopher Akerman (Kalen Hickenbottom) of Danvers; her grandsons, Matthew, Spencer Akerman, Adam and Connor Akerman; and her siblings, Janice Kijek of Newburyport and Larry Oak of Wenham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
