He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Bavineau and Bridget Grace Bavineau (Doherty); his wife Kathleen M. Bavineau (Reardon); his son David W. Bavineau; his siblings, Mary E. "Betty" Bavineau, Frankie and Peter E. Bavineau; and his siblings-in-law, Jeremiah J. Reardon, Margaret L. "Peg" Reardon (Logue) and Anne M. Reardon (Clark).

He is survived by: his sons, Marc R. Bavineau of Gloucester and Paul M. Bavineau of South Portland, ME.
