He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Berte and Johanna Berte (Bortlik). He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Buckley; his sons, Benjamin Berte of Beverly and Christopher Berte of Beverly; his brothers, Brian Berte (Boni Felicita) of Raleigh, NC, Bruce Berte of Saugus and Bruce Bortlik; his close friend Steven Buckley; and also Oreo.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
