She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Mahoney; her parents, John Murphy and Katherine Murphy (Sunderland); her granddaughter Erin Dawson; her children-in-law, Cheryl Wheelwright and Paul Diefenbach; and her siblings, Rita Gordon and John "Jack" Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Mahoney of Peabody, Stephen Mahoney of Salem, NH, Paul Mahoney (Kathy) of Woodstock, VT, Katherine Lauranzano (Christopher) of Beverly, Trish Mahoney-Diefenbach of Peabody and Julie Gentile (Peter) of Beverly; her grandchildren, Kelly Bell (Seth), Regina Naboshek (Matthew), Gregory (Sadie), Andrew Lauranzano (Dana), Sean Jared (Angie), Leah Mahoney, Thomas Dawson (Djamila), Emily Sweeney, Daniel, Rachel Gentile, Paul (Tara), Michael and Scott Diefenbach; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Declan, Keegan, Milla, Ellis, Lazarus, Camille, Aubrey, Evelyn, Silas, Sunny, Callan and Thomas. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, Dover cousins and lifelong friends.
