He is survived by: his parents, David Butler and Ellen Butler (Kennedy); his spouse Thomas Higgins; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Belliveau, Anna Prideaux, Patrick Prideaux, Madison Butler, William Butler and Evan Butler; and also, Matthew Butler (Krisanne) of Ipswich and Elizabeth Prideaux (Paul) of Peabody.
