He is survived by: his wife Anna Green; his children, Kathleen and John Stairs; and his siblings, Judith Stairs, Felicite Stairs (Dan McCarthy), Philippa Stairs, Alan Stairs, John Stairs (Darlene Meade), Sarah Stairs and Tracy Clifton (Maurice Clifton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and in-laws.
