With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George H. Cohane of Beverly, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Cohane and Doris Cohane (Hanson); and his sister Ena Manninen. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Cohane (Cuoco) of Beverly; his children, Andrea Burgess (Bruce) of Beverly and George M. Cohane (Kelly McManus) of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Kaitlyn Burgess, Gavin Cohane and Ella McManus; and his brother William Cohane (Barbara) of Peabody. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Campbell Funeral Home (525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Harmony Grove Cemetery (30 Grove St, Salem, MA 01970).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in George's memory to a charity of one's choice.
