With solemn reverence, we commemorate George E. Cantwell of Beverly, Massachusetts, born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on September 30, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Cantwell and Helen Cantwell (O'Rourke); his wife Eleanor Cantwell (Tobyne); and his siblings, William Cantwell, Arlene Lyons, Mary E. "Betty" Uele, Eleanor Kneeland, Dorothy Cantwell, Bernard Cantwell, Robert J. Cantwell, Sophie Murphy and Joan Lessard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Erlene Dozibrin of Brentwood, NH and Patricia S. Ross of Bradford; and his sister-in-law Catherine "Kay" S. Cantwell (Caggiano) of Haverhill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau (486 Main St, Haverhill, MA 01830). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Parish (50 Union St, South Hamilton, MA 01982).
