He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Forti and Mary Forti (Cogliano); his wife H. Irene Forti (Twomey); and his siblings, Andrew Forti, Rose Diminico, Josephine Spinelli and Dorothy Bean.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn (Thomas Bartlett), Marlene Pippins (Scott Fabyan) and Joe (Lois Forti); and his grandchildren, Jodi, Jonathan Elder of Ipswich, Christopher, Kate Forti of Thailand, Kelly, Patrick, Entremont of North Andover, Allison, Brian Lee of North Carolina, Andrew, Kristen Forti of Hopkinton, Taylor Bartlett of Gloucester, Lauren Pippins of Ipswich and Brooke Pippins of Ipswich. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
