With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Marie Bernard of Beverly, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip J. Bernard Sr. and Evelyn P. Bernard (Dort); her brothers, Philip J. Bernard Jr. of Ipswich and William D. Bernard of Florida; and her son Philip D. Neely of Haverhill.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald G. Bernard of Florida, Elmer G. Bernard (Buddy) of Ipswich, Linda R. Corliss, Barbara A. Hemenway and Mary A. Good of Florida; her sons, Barry C. Neely of Peabody and Michael D. Neely of Marblehead; and her daughter-in-law Ann G. Neely of Salem. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family politely requests donations to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 76 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923 in honor of the beautiful care they provided to Ellie in her final days.
