He is survived by: his wife Lisa (Pode); his mother Rosamond Finocchio (Muldoon); his children, Brendan Hughes of Beacon Hill and Alanna Hughes (Andrew Smith) of East Boston; his siblings, Dana G. Hughes of Wilmington and Kathryn Hughes of Winchester; his niece Hilary Hughes (Andrew Visnovsky) of Los Angeles; his nephew Jimmy Hughes (Kate Lowell) of New York City; and his pet Charlemagne.
