With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara W. Horne of Beverly, Massachusetts, born in Braintree, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Woodbury and Ramona Woodbury (Carle); her husband John E. Horne, Jr.; her siblings, Marjorie Thomson and Harland Woodbury, Jr.; and her son-in-law Thomas Geras.
She is survived by: her children, William Horne (Lea Brilmayer) of Branford, CT, Richard Horne (Judy) of Nashua, NH, Michael Horne (Christine) of Hooksett, NH and Wendy Geras of Beverly. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
