She was predeceased by: her parents, Waino and Dorothy Tervo (Stone); her husband Donald Wheeler; her son James Wheeler; her siblings, Clara Munroe (Ira), Robert Tervo (Mary) and Waino Tervo; and her cousin William Tervo.
She is survived by: her children, Claire Pond (Kevin), Robert Wheeler (Beverly), Crystal Rice (Mike Majeau) and Patricia Lichwell (David); her grandchildren, Meggan Wheeler, Mollie Wheeler, Bobby Rice, Kyle Lichwell, Patrick Lichwell, Felicia Lowe and Ashley Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Goulet, Kaylie and Makenzie Lowe; her brother Richard Tervo; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Tervo and Karen Silva. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sylvia's memory to the Berlin Food Pantry, Berlin Historical Society, Berlin Public Library, First Parish Church of Berlin or Berlin Fire/EMS.
