He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Cronin and Irene Lamore Cronin; his wife Sharon Cronin of Dalton; his children, Christopher Cronin (Amy) of Stowe, Vermont and Caitlin Cronin Osantowski (Kevin) of Gray, Maine; his grandchildren, Bridget Cronin and Claire Osantowski; his siblings, John Cronin (Marla) of Lewisville, Texas, Mary Teresa Cronin-Furman (William) of Cambridge and Ann Manus (Gordon) of Ballwin, Missouri; his mother-in-law Margaret Donovan of Pittsfield; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Lagergren (Robert) of Pittsfield and John Donovan (Kristine) of Pittsfield. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Joseph Church or to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Dery Funeral Home.
