He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hopkins Horton and John Thomas Horton Sr.; and his siblings, Donald Witter, Gereldine Puttnam, Eloise Asci, Amy Christine Horton, Dwight Witter and Lucretia Liebenow.
He is survived by: his children, Seth Cook Horton Jr. and Samantha Christine Zeygerman; his son-in-law Artem; his grandchildren, Siona of Pittsfield and Alden of Pittsfield; his brothers, Woodrow Witter of Cheshire, Clarence Witter (Jane) of Worthington and John Thomas Horton Jr. (Barbara) of Pittsfield; and his former wife Karen Lambert-Toomey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to John Horton Jr. and sent to the funeral home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201 to assist in offsetting funeral expenses.
