We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Olive Root (Berkshire, Massachusetts), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, John P. Root and Lynn McCullough; and her brothers, Stephen Whitman and David Whitman. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Whitman and Olive Snell Whitman; her children, Michael Root and Gale Rivers (Dana); and her friend Rose LeFevre. She is also survived by granddaughter; two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, in her memory.
