She was predeceased by : her parents, Sam Mosca and Florence Thomas; her husband Joseph Guarda; her sons, James M. Sondrini, John D. Sondrini and Jerry E. Sondrini; and her nephew Eric Robinson.

She is survived by : her children, Joyce Sondrini of New Ashford and Geno Sondrini of Dalton; her sisters, Joyce Turner of Pittsfield, Marylou Robinson of Italy and Kathy Mosca; her grandchildren, James, Sara, Jerry, Robert, Carole Ann and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Santino, Marcello, Amariella and Ciana; her niece Nancy Ireland; and her nephew Richard Pucko.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
