He is survived by: his wife Benigna Campos Reynaga; his son Filip Blechinger, Jr.; his wife Carol Greenberg; and also Joel Greenberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Paralyzed Veterans of America in care of Dery Funeral Home 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA.
