David Willett Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Willett (Berkshire, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

When he was diagnosed with cancer last October, amidst a global pandemic, his first thoughts were not of himself, but making sure his treatments would not inconvenience his employer and colleagues at the Bass Water Grill in Cheshire, MA.

A service will not be held at this time, but a private memorial tribute will be held when it is safer for folks to gather. Memorial Funds have been setup in David's memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the following organizations that supported David throughout the years.

“To David's Family. We were sorry to hear of David's passing. My boyfriend, Scott and I met Dave about 26 years ago when we started with the VISTA program in Westbrook, CT. He was very welcoming to us when we were at VISTA, and we remember him as a kind and caring person that always was there to help others. Our sympathies, Scott Bristol and Melissa Culbert Old Saybrook. Connecticut”
