It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Broderick of Berkshire, Massachusetts, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 109, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Hughes and Loretta Hughes; her husband Howard M. Broderick; her siblings, Irving D. Hughes Jr., Anne L. Ryan, Jane F. Farr and Thomas Hughes; her children, Barbara A. Trova and Edward M. Broderick; and her grandson John R. Trova.
She is survived by: her son James D. Broderick (Cynthia) of LaGrangeville, NY; her children-in-law, Peter Trova of Pittsfield, MA and Gunta Broderick of Wappingers Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Michael Trova (Sharon) of Elmira, NY, Cynthia Provost (Robert) of Colorado Springs, CO, Paul Trova (Kimberly) of Hinsdale, MA, Deborah Brennen (David) of Beacon, NY, James D. Broderick Jr. (Bethany) of Hannacroix, NY, James E. Broderick (Rebecca) of St. Simons Island, GA, Carrie Eirish (Chuck) of LaGrangeville, NY, Kathleen Hoppa (Gregory) of Hampstead, NH and Chad Broderick of Ashland, OR; and her granddaughter-in-law Christine Trova of Pittsfield, MA. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
