He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward O. Carr Sr. and Cecelia J. Carr (McCarthy); and his sibling Charles E. Carr. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward O. Carr, Jr. of Morgan Hills, CA, Doris A. Correia of Palm Bay, FL, Douglas A. Carr, Thomas J. Carr and Sally Caron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
