He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Fernando and Alice Fernando (Fernando); and his son Ashwin Fernando. He is survived by: his wife Iranganie Fernando (Gunasekera); his children, Ashan Fernando (Megan) and Ashini "Vasthu" Fernando of Berkley; his grandchildren, Aacen and Axel; and his siblings, Neeta Fernando of Sri Lanka, Wickrema Fernando, Chandra Fernando of Italy, Swineetha Jacob of Pakistan and Beatrice Wickramaratne of Saugus, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His burial will be held privately. During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
