He was predeceased by: his wife Althea Stetson (Maker); his son Merle Douglas Stetson; his parents, George W. Stetson and Marian H. Stetson (Brailey); his son-in-law Stanley M. Paduch; and his brother Lawrence W. Stetson.
He is survived by: his daughters, June A. Paduch and Gail E. Terry; his children-in-law, Len Terry of East Taunton and Patricia Stetson of Berkley; his grandchildren, Dawn M. Araujo (Paduch) of Fall River, Lisa A. Tetreault (Paduch) of Berkley, Leonard Terry of Valrico, FL, William Terry of Winter Haven, FL, Peter Fasel of Lakeville, Ben Fasel (Kelly), Sarah Cogar (Dan) of Seekonk and Meredith Stetson (Mary); his daughter-in-law Dale Stetson (Compos) of Berkley; and his siblings, George Robert Stetson, Dorothy Stetson Peirce and Patricia Stetson MacNeil.
