She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Rose and Mabel Rose (Perry); her husband Joseph F Souza Sr.; her son Joseph F Souza Jr.; and her siblings, Jeannette Nascimento and Raymond Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Bradford Souza of Taunton and Kathleen Gates (Kevin) of Berkley; her grandchildren, Jessica Gates of Providence and Kevin Gates Jr. of Berkley; and her sisters, Harriet Simmons, Dorita Morris and Charlene Pires. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
