It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlos V. Chaves of Berkley, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Medeiros Chaves and Maria Anjos Chaves (Vieira); his brother John Chaves of Fall River; and his son Edward Reynolds. He is survived by: his brother Joseph Chaves of Fall River; and his children, Michael Chaves (Stephanie Chaves), Deborah Chaves (Victorino Chaves), Carl J. Chaves (Traci-anne Chaves) and Mark Chaves (JR Santos). He is also survived by Uncle Al, my grandfather and 2 uncles.
