Mary L. Toomey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Toomey of Belmont, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Kennedy and Mary Kennedy (Davis); her husband Dr. Timothy J. Toomey Jr. of Cambridge; her sisters, Sheila Tobin of Cambridge and Margaret McDaid (Anthony McDaid) of Somerville; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Tobin of Tewksbury and Kellie McDaid of Somerville.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Timothy J. Toomey III (Nicole Cimbak) of Boston; her brother Matthew Kennedy of Somerville; her niece Nancy J. Enos (John Enos); her great-niece Julie Enos of Arlington; her nephews, Timothy McDaid of Somerville and Matthew McDaid of Medford; and her niece Kathryn McDaid of Medford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory can be made to Project Care and Concern, care of Sister Joyce McMullen, 22 Beechwood St. Dorchester, MA 02121 or to Catherine Laboure School of Nursing, where a Mary L Toomey Memorial Scholarship has been created for a nursing student in need during this school year.
