He was predeceased by: his parents, William Swinamer and Winifred Swinamer (Hiltz); and his siblings, Carl St. Clair Swinamer, Roy Vincent Swinamer, Earl Donald Swinamer, Paul Eugene Swinamer, Doris Kathleen Blanchet (Swinamer) and Margaret Jean Lewis (Swinamer).
He is survived by: his former wife Mary "Mae" Elizabeth Doherty; his wife Mary Swinamer of Belmont; his daughter Darlene Swinamer of Belmont; his grandson Derek; his son Robert Swinamer (Jean); and his grandchild Halle of Jupiter, Florida.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
