He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles K. Cobb and Elsie Q. Cobb (Nichols); his wife Ann Valentine Cobb; and his brothers, Charles K. Cobb, Jr. and Henry N. Cobb.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Cobb Merchant (Dudley), Priscilla Cobb (Dan Cherneff), Victoria Cobb Westacott (Emrys) and Matthew Cobb (Rosemary Shea Cobb); his grandchildren, Emily Hill (George), Alex Merchant (Maddie Lagattuta), Rose and Lyle Cherneff; his children, Sophie, Emily Westacott, Charlie, Tim and Virginia Cobb; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Nicholas, Julia Hill and Cyrus Merchant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
