We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 86, John P. Brickley (Belmont, Massachusetts), born in Somerville, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Brickley (Mahoney); his children, Paul (Kelly) of Arlington, VA, Cara of Charlestown, MA and Patrick (Lonnie) of North Reading, MA; and his grandchildren, Anne, Caroline, Julia and Luke.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Church (130 Common St, Belmont, MA 02478). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation or Boston College High School.
