With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dorsey of Belmont, Massachusetts, born in Great Neck, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edna C. Jones and Daniel A.; his wife Marilyn (Rowley) of Great Neck, NY.; his children, Kathleen LaScaleia (Michael) of Sudbury, Sharon Walsh, Daniel (Diane) of Redmond, WA and Thomas of Belmont; his grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Katherine (Sudbury), Michael of Guilford, CT, Andrew LaScaleia (Cambridge), EJ of Quinhagak, AK and Samuel Dorsey (Washington, DC); and his brother Richard J. Dorsey (Patricia) of Old Chatham, NY. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
