He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Dockerty and Mary Dockerty (Denehey). He is survived by: his sister Elaine M. Mahoney (Michael); his nieces, Mary Kate Petrucci (Brian) and Alison Aldrich (Scott); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter, Mackenzie, Charlotte and Scottie.
