It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Murphy of Bellingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald P. Murphy; her parents, Joseph Deveaux and Louise Deveaux (Aucoin); her son Stephen M. Murphy; and her siblings, Marle Anne Deveaux, Lionel Deveaux, Wilfred Deveaux, Yvonne Chiasson, Arthur Deveaux, Hector Deveaux, Alphonse Deveaux, Yvon Deveaux and Laurette Chiasson.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Murphy (Jacquie) of Milford, MA, Jerry "Paul" Murphy (Mary) of Bourne, MA and Brenda Daigle (Rick) of Bellingham, MA; her grandchildren, Kristen Murphy (Jimmy) of Andover, MA, Joey Murphy of Milford, MA, Paul Murphy (Kim) of Stow, MA, Meaghan Collins (Matt) of Wareham, MA, Pat Murphy (Alyssa) of Mendon, MA, Kahlan Clark (Stevie) of Bourne, MA, Maggie Murphy (Ross) of Franklin, MA, Steve Daigle (Robyn) of Franklin, MA, Lindsay Jeter (Steve) of Uxbridge, MA and Justin Daigle (Michelle) of Uxbridge, MA; her great grandchildren, Jackson Murphy, Drew Murphy, Addelyn Daigle, Alice Murphy, Ava Daigle, Graham Murphy, Maya Daigle, Grayce Daigle, Max Jeter, Lucas Clark, Avery Clark and Anastasia Jacques; and her brothers, Levis Deveaux (Blanche), Daniel Deveaux (Cassie) of Ontario Canada and Clarence Deveaux (Linda) of Ontario Canada. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Association.
