He was predeceased by: his parent Gijsbertus Onkenhout. He is survived by: his mother Julia C. Onkenhout of Bellingham; and his siblings, Robert Onkenhout (Keiko Onkenhout) of Japan, Eric G. Onkenhout of Bellingham, Hellen M. Saxton (Graeme Bennie) and Cynthia C. Maron (Dianna Dauphine). He is also survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
