He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Dubois-Bernard (Berard) and Hercules Dubois; his brother Robert; his stepfather Theodore Bernard of Woonsocket; and his stepsiblings, Theodore Bernard Jr. of Florida, Lawrence Bernard of Woonsocket, Claire Moon (William) of Florida and Sister Claire Marie Bernard (Jacqueline) of Manchester, NH..
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Helene Beauregard); his children, Susan M. Romiti (Dubois) of Franklin, MA, Richard E. Dubois Jr. (Diane Poisson) of Franklin, Dennis Dubois (Liesse) of North Scituate, RI, Annette Lavallee (William) of Stonington, CT and Stephen Dubois of Narraganset, RI.; his grandchildren, Scott, Jonathan Romiti, Robert, Edward Dubois, Jonathan Dubois, Elizabeth Lepczyk, Amy DeCastro, Evan, Ross and Spencer Dubois; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Frappier of Natick, MA and Charles Beauregard (Rochelle) of Slatersville, RI.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
