He was predeceased by: his son Paul A. Pessia II; his parents, Tullio Pessia and Barbara Pessia (Arone); and his sibling Jean Ferris. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Pessia (Sisson); and his children, Clare Pessia, Barbara Jean Pessia, Michael Pessia, Charles Pessia (Rosemarie Pessia) and Courtney Bonzey (Ben Bonzey). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
