She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Stearns; her parents, Michael Shahtay and Pauline Shahtay; her son Alan Stearns; and her sister Dorothy Lewinsky.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Stearns of Falmouth, Michael Stearns of Bellingham and Timothy Stearns of Bellingham; her sister Sophie Shahtay of Bellingham; her grandchildren, Jesse Stearns, Amanda Stearns, Jennifer Stearns, Brian Stearns and Corey Stearns Bourbonais; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Stearns, Jayden Stearns and Hunter Dauley.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in her memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater N.E. Chapter, 101 A 1st Ave. Waltham, MA 02451.
