She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. Benson, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Rego and Georgiana Rego (Elshant); and her brother Ronald Rego. She is survived by: her children, Robert A. Benson (late Michele) of Wareham, MA, Susan A. McCarter of Saco, ME, Richard A. Benson, Jr. (Sharon) of Millis, MA and Brian J. Benson (Jean) of Uxbridge, MA.; and her siblings, Robert Rego of Westport, MA, Joseph Rego of Little Compton, RI, Natalie Darling of Little Compton, RI, Georgiana Souza of Florida, Franklin Rego, Agnes Braz, Lydia Rego and Louise Almeida. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
