She is survived by: her siblings, Leslie and John Jr.; her daughter Leslie; her granddaughter Ainsley of Bellingham; her son John A. Mitchell, Jr.; and her siblings, Joanne Carway (Stehlik) of Cape Coral and Richard Stehlik of Waynesboro, Virginia.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
