Martel and Marie Anne Martel (Desrosier); his children, Ronald Martel (Candace) of Bellingham, MA and Susan Hien (Susha) of St. Martin; his grandchildren, Charles Hien (Katie) of Lincoln, RI, Kara Nichols (Brian) of Barrington, RI, Trevor Martel of Denver, CO and Taryn Martel of Bellingham, MA.; his great grandchildren, Haley Hien of Lincoln, RI and Morgan Nichols of Barrington, RI.; and his siblings, Madeleine Pereira, Lillian Bradley, Louise Green (Jerry), Raymond Martel (Beverly), Gilbert Martel, Doris Migneault, Rachel O'Brien and Annette Thibodeau.
