John R. Lawton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Lawton of Bellingham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Lawton and Georgia Lawton (MacAllister). He is survived by: his wife Christine C. Lawton (Conte); his children, John C. Lawton (Lucy) of Arizona, Lisa A. Fritts (Adam) of Franklin and Daniel M. Lawton (Brittany) of Uxbridge, MA.; his grandsons, Matthew J. Fritts, Joseph R. Fritts, Christopher Lawton and Jeffrey Lawton; and his brother Richard Lawton (Ida) of Framingham, MA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
